Domino Printing Sciences, an inkjet, laser and RFID provider, will demonstrate its new C6000V , the latest product in the C-Series plus range of outer case coders during the Pack Expo 2007 show. The new ‘vertical’ printer adds to the company’s outer case coders, ancillaries, and software solutions, used for the delivery of supply chain compliant bar codes at production speeds.

The newly designed C6000V prints vertically downward on a wide variety of porous substrates enabling the printing on the top of outer case boxes, plaster board, wood products, and numerous other materials.  Manufacturers can add branding to products that are visible on the retail shelf as well as make short-run case coding simpler.  With a small head size, access to confined areas and integration into OEM equipment is greatly simplified.

Thomas Horgan, commercial manager, secondary packaging for Domino USA comments:  ‘We continue to look for solutions that help our customers increase productivity and profitability in the face of intense global competition.  The user-friendly C-Series plus range including the new C6000V variant have been designed to reduce inefficiencies incurred using old, mechanical or manual systems.’
