Schober USA has produced a new four-page, full-color packaging brochure which provides an overview of its capabilities for die-cutting paper, film, paperboard, self-adhesive film and foil. The literature highlights die cutting technology, including combinations such as cutting and creasing, die cutting and punching, and cutting and perforating.

Individual processes such as die cutting, creasing, scoring, perforating, punching and more can be coupled with laser cutting, ultrasonic welding, sealing/embossing, punching, cut-and-place, scoring/grooving, gluing/bonding, cutting, collating, product delivery and more.

‘Schober engineers can assist with process development and process validation to ensure productivity and seamless integration of these products with other production equipment,’ said the company in a statement. ‘A global network of field engineers and installation support personnel ensure equipment commissioning worldwide. These technologies are at use within packaging plants and converters serving them throughout North America for the production of milk and juice cartons, cigarette packages, labels, food packages, RFID labels, household cleaning pads, diapers, airline/public transportation tickets, wallpapers, diabetes test strips, surgical masks, gowns, air filtration masks, and more.’

‘Packaging has been at the core of what we do for many years,’ said Marion Hixson, COO of Schober USA, ‘so we provide customers with a specific brochure highlighting options and capabilities within the packaging arena.’
