Digital Information refreshes InkZone and Preproofer

Swiss manufacturer of color control systems for the graphic arts, Digital Information, has updated its InkZone product family.

The upcoming Graph Expo in Chicago will see the company present its newly-integrated support for the Heidelberg Prinect Press Center with an InkZone preset and closed-loop color control solution.  In addition, the latest version of Digital Information’s Preproofer will be in action, producing double-sided, imposed proofs using a tandem of uniquely-configured Epson, large-format, inkjet printers .
 
InkZone is an open platform ink preset and closed-loop color control solution that works with all makes of offset litho presses, including KBA, Komori, manroland, and Ryobi, as well as Heidelberg.  It offers printers substantially shorter make ready times and a reduction in paper waste, as well as improved color quality that can be logged for certification, QA reporting, or customer score cards.

Digital Information’s latest Preproofer is an Epson-based double-sided imposition proofing system with 40 percent faster print speed and precise front-to-back registration.
