Dow Corning has published two new Release System Information Guides for its Syl-Off brand tin-catalyzed silicone release coatings – one guide for solvent-based products and a second guide for emulsions. The company has also updated its selection and application guide for Dow Corning brand pressure sensitive adhesives.

The new Release System Information Guides include descriptions of recent additions to the Syl-Off tin-catalyzed solvent-based and emulsion product lines. Updated handling and application information plus new formulation suggestions are also included. Products listed in the guides are available globally.

Revised guides for Dow Corning’s platinum-, low-platinum- and rhodium-curing release coating systems are in progress and will be available soon.

The updated PSA guide includes product, performance, processing and curing information for Dow Corning’s globally available line of silicone PSAs. The guide contains information about recent advances in solventless silicone PSAs plus product suggestions for food contact, tape, release liner and very high-temperature applications.

Copies of the new guides are available by request by e-mailing the Dow Corning Pressure Sensitive Solutions team at paper.industry@dowcorning.com. Include the name of the guide you are requesting (Syl-Off tin solvent guide, Syl-Off tin emulsion guide or Dow Corning PSA guide) in the subject line.
