Enercon to show new plasma system at CMM

Top application experts at booth 1445 will give CMM visitors a personal introduction to the new Plasma3 atmospheric plasma system offered by Enercon Industries. Because web handling is a fluid dynamic process, some films will be subject to backside treatment despite preventative corona system solutions.

The new Plasma3 technology has the ability to modify surfaces unresponsive to traditional treatment methods while completely eliminating backside treatment. The system produces uniform plasma treatment that adds long-lasting and significantly enhanced wettability, printability, and adhesion properties to the surface. Most materials, including specialty films, foams, wovens, nonwovens, fibers, metals, and powders requiring stringent surface specifications will find the Plasma3 system ‘especially attractive and useful’, according to a statement.
