Flint’s nyloflex NExT to hit market this week

Customer events on November 8 and 9 will signal the market launch of Flint Group Flexographic Products nyloflex NExT UV exposure technology.
 
Nyloflex NExT offers a high-performance exposure technology to produce precisely defined surfaces on flat top dots.  It also provides a precise image reproduction to ensure the highest print quality with excellent ink laydown, even with long print runs.  Printing plates are exposed with high-intensity UV LEDs (> 800 mW/cm²), which allow a consistent UV emission and the reproduction of even the finest detail.  Nyloflex NExT is suitable for all digital plates regardless of type, thickness and format and can easily be implemented into existing digital workflows, Flint Group said, and there is no need of additional consumables.
 
The nyloflex NExT technology was showcased at September’s Labelexpo Europe 2011, with print samples (pictured) obtained from several European customers during exhaustive print trials using varying ink systems and substrates on display.
 
Two types of nyloflex NExT Exposure units are now available:
 
| nyloflex NExT Exposure F III, the mid-size exposure unit with format 920 x 1200mm
(36 x 47in).
| nyloflex NExT Exposure F V, the large-size exposure unit with format 1320 x 2032mm
(52 x 80in).
