Fuji Copian launches metallic thermal-transfer film range

Fuji Copian, manufacturer of thermal transfer film, is launching a range of metallic color resin films to the European market.

This range includes two new Gold and Silver ribbons, which reportedly display new depths of metallic effects.

This launch also includes a Metallic Red color, tailored to give successful results in the high-end packaging market. 

The new resin formula, the company’s latest innovation in the field of near-edge TPH-based printing technology, is claimed to display high printability performance, at both low and high speeds, making it suitable for stand-alone printers as well as on-line printing modules.

The main applications targeted by the NRC1 range are to be found in the branded and high-end packaging fields. Early users include a major Japanese food brand. Other suggested applications include price tags for jewellery shops.
