Gans Ink’s Energy Curables division has developed UVFlex, a high performance line of UV flexo inks for top quality narrow web applications.

Available in 4/C process, Pantone shades and fade-resistant formulations, UVFlex inks have been designed for use on most films, coated and uncoated paper stocks. Adhesion and scratch resistance is excellent. UVFlex comes up to density quickly and maintains that density and gloss from the approval sheet to the highest production speeds. UVFlex process inks run well in the range of 800-1,000 line/in screens, with 1.8-2.1 BCM anilox cylinders, and their low viscosity makes them easy to pump. They have excellent cure response and achieve their maximum scuff-resistance after 24 hours. The very low odor of UVFlex inks make them ideal for all indirect contact food packaging.
