HarperScientific, the printing and coating supplies division of global anilox supplier Harper Corporation of America, has announced the introduction of Re-Leez, a product formulated especially for removing water-based ink from narrow web presses, anilox rolls and all equipment.

‘Re-Leez is ideal for cleaning water-based ink from anilox rolls between color changes on press. It’s designed to help printers keep their presses running with as little downtime as possible,’ said Tony Donato, technical sales solutions manager at HarperScientific.

The new cleaner’s advanced surfactant technology is exceedingly environmentally friendly, using no butyl-based solvents or environmentally hazardous chemicals. It is biodegradable and produces no V.O.C.s.

Re-Leez contains unique corrosion inhibitors and can be applied with a sprayer, brush or cloth. Available exclusively through HarperScientific, this super-concentrated formula, which can be diluted with water, is sold in 4-packs of 32 oz. bottles, pails and drums.

HarperScientific is the manufacturer of CeramClean II and CeramClean SOLV-IT anilox cleaners, a wide variety of flexographic and gravure hand-proofing systems, and DuroSeal chamber blade end seals.
