Inkjet Solutions launches i-Jet AQ 2800 series print module

This versatile print technology using water-based inks, will enable end-users to improve the quality of their digital print production, whilst reducing capital investment costs, typically incurred with water-based digital printing systems.

The aqueous pigment technology offers major benefits, such as printing on a wide selection of substrates and reduced printing costs, whilst meeting an extensive range of market and application needs.

John Richardson, managing director at Inkjet Solutions, says, 'This is a great addition to our existing digital systems, enabling us to offer application solutions based on performance and flexibility. Also, of particular benefit to customers, is the DuraFlex longer life print head when compared to earlier memjet heads.'

The i-JET AQ 2800 has a 324mm web width. with a print resolution of 1600 x 1585dpi. Print speeds: 1600 x 1600dpi is 27m/min and 1600 x 954dpi is 46 m/min. The DuraFlex print-head technology delivers cost effective high-quality printing through 2x nozzle redundancy and precision drop architecture (2.4pl drop size), says the company

The i-JET AQ 2800 can be retrofitted onto existing narrow web printing presses and converters or installed as a standalone solution with various print finishing options.
