Mica Corporation unveils water-based primer for PET films

Mica Corporation has unveiled a new water-based primer, Mica I-372-C, designed especially for PET films. ‘With excellent weatherability and non-yellowing characteristics, Mica I-372-C provides a reliable and durable solution for PET film primer needs,’ said the company in a statement.  

The primer is a press-ready aqueous polymeric dispersion suited to durable, industrial applications including corona treated polyester films, photovoltaic films and more. 

Mica Corporation specializes in aqueous products for the flexible converting industry, manufacturing waterborne primers, coatings and adhesives since its inception in 1971.
