NewPage to show expanded facestock range at Labelexpo

NewPage Corporation will feature its recently expanded OptiPrime range of pressure sensitive facestocks at Labelexpo Americas on stand 1539.

OptiPrime Matte and OptiPrime Digital Matte have been added to the OptiPrime range.

OptiPrime Matte and OptiPrime Digital Matte are designed for applications requiring a high-end durable paper-like gloss, but without the glossy look. Combining a matte finish with brightness and print fidelity, the new matte grades produce advanced image reproduction. Both grades have high strength, which allows for fast matrix stripping and a wide range of adhesive compatibility. 

Designed for pressure sensitive applications, OptiPrime Matte’s basis weight is 74 grams per square meter (3000ft2). Also a pressure sensitive grade, OptiPrime Digital Matte is certified for printing on HP Indigo ws4050 and ws4500 presses. Its basis weight is 81 grams per square meter (3300ft2).
