Pago launches vignette and tamper evident labeling for pharmaceutical industry

The PAGOsystem 580 will be demonstrated during April 2007 at Pago Ltd in Colchester, UK. This machine provides precision security for carton labeling.

It is designed in modular format offering the ‘highest technical quality’ in conjunction with absolute security and reliability for tamper evident and vignette labeling, according to a statement.

The PAGOmat 6/2 labeling head applies up to 450 labels per minute, with vignettes applied to the top of the cartons and the tamper evident labels dispensed laterally and folded over the edge of the cartons. The rigid base plate and stable construction offers the optimum conditions for tough three shift industrial operation.

The simple operation from one side means that this system can be integrated into production lines whose workflow, from primary to final packaging is based on single sided operation.

The PAGOsystem 580 Pharma provides all the necessary flexibility for small batches and frequent changes of product. Product feeding on flighted conveyor belts offers a wide range of labeled carton formats.

The cartons are precisely aligned by a system of guides guaranteeing a firm position for the cartons during labeling.
