Stora Enso introduces new universal release liner paper

Stora Enso Global Speciality Papers, a business area of the world’s largest paper and board manufacturer, will introduce LumiSil LO, a new universal release liner base paper, at Labelexpo Americas 2006 in Chicago, Illinois, USA, September 11-14.  LumiSil LO is specifically designed for optimal performance in automated high-speed pressure-sensitive labeling operations.

LumiSil LO features an optimized opacity for compatibility with label dispensers using optical sensors. Its uniform caliper enables consistent label die cutting and strength during matrix stripping.  In addition, LumiSil LO offers good dimensional stability and excellent silicone holdout, curing and anchorage properties. All are factors for delivering exceptional release liner performance in high-production labeling operations.
