Techkon to showcase inspection systems at Labelexpo

SpectroVision monitor from Techkon

Techkon will showcase its new SpectroVision in-line quality inspection device at Labelexpo Europe 2019.

SpectroVision monitors three of the most important print quality factors: it offers live web viewing (registration, logos, text), ANSI/ISO style barcode grading, and spectral-based color measurement capabilities in real-time at press speeds of up to 1,000ft/minute. Its compact design that allows it to be easily mounted into existing flexo, gravure and digital presses.

The device is powered by Techkon’s cloud-based quality management platform, ChromaQA, which connects the ink, pre-press, production and quality departments using one interface.  SpectroVision provides real-time, actionable feedback during make-ready and production to press operators; when the job is complete, it can generate score cards for brand owners.

‘Labelexpo is the perfect venue to showcase the SpectroVision and we are thrilled to be able to offer live demonstrations of the solution at our stand during the show. It’s exciting for us to share with printers just how quick and easy the ROI can be regarding a SpectroVision purchase by shortening make-ready costs and reducing the number of job re-makes that can either result from poor color accuracy, mis-registered work or barcodes that are unreadable,’ stated George Adam, president of Techkon USA. ‘SpectroVision is an Industry 4.0 solution that is here today and already helping printers to become more profitable, more competitive, and win more business.’

Show visitors will be able to see Techkon’s technologies and its range of color measurement systems at stand 9A27.
