Tectonic to show plate-mounting machine at Labelexpo

Tectonic International, a manufacturer of quality assurance systems for the web processing industry, will show its V5 plate-mounting machine and K2 inspection system at Labelexpo Americas. 

The Flexico V5 plate-mounting machine provides hands-free mounting of plates using a ‘rotating’ rise and fall plate table and a holding clamp so that the printer does not have to hold the plate in his hands throughout the mounting process.   

K2colour-check is a low-cost system which includes color-monitoring through the algorithms developed for the company’s Jaguar print inspection system. 

Also available as an upgrade on K2 is Image Transfer, when on-demand images of the ‘live’ print-run are transferred from an installed K2 to networked PCs for inspection by nominated personnel. K2 allows management to monitor and store images from each and every print run for improved quality and productivity.
