Theurer upgrades C3 software

Theurer is working towards its long-term target, which will see more features and modules of C3 available in browser-based and mobile device environments. Some modules, such as Business Intelligence and Dashboards, are already available as browser versions, CRM, and logistics will follow soon. The company’s goal is also to enable C3 users to digitally transform all processes in the company with Smart Factory Digitalization applications to create a strategic advantage for the customers.

The new version has been updated with an intuitive, modern, and easily customizable interface in the familiar style of Microsoft Office, which offers a sharp view of all data on smartphone displays and 4K screens. Thanks to HTML 5 responsive design, the C3 mobile applications adapt optimally to the respective display size. For mobile devices, this means enlarged buttons, larger fonts, and wider spacing so that every user has convenient access to all functions, even on the go.

The new time tracking function records working times in production, sales, marketing, and management to the minute and assigns them to processes and orders. This allows to maintain an overview of all working times and make post-calculation even more accurate.

Document management is also significantly simplified with C3.2020. New files can be loaded into the C3 document management system by using a drag and drop motion. For each uploaded PDF, the software automatically generates matching thumbnails to simplify the sorting of documents.

Another new feature of C3.2020 is integrating centrally controlled and platform-independent t-screen dashboards informing all employees with the information relevant to them. This way, employees receive important information at a glance, graphically presented, and can work more efficiently. The dashboards can also be used in meetings to provide a quick overview of current figures and influence the strategic direction of the department and the company.

The updated mobile CRM module features the link to Google Maps, enabling the sales team to search for other customers or prospects in the vicinity after an appointment to efficiently maintain further relationships and be up to date.

New functions in the logistics module enable real-time monitoring of all material flows. This ensures that there is enough material in the production flow where it is needed at any given time. In perspective, the logistics module will be the next module to be transferred to the browser to enable working in warehouse and logistics.

With the help of artificial intelligence, C3.2020 calculates the optimal production sequence according to previously defined parameters. Automated production planning ensures that delivery dates are not missed or equipment is not fully utilized. With flexible prioritization, the user can place focus on one parameter or another depending on the current market requirements to be optimally prepared for all demands. 

The development of C3.2020 also enables to connect multiple sites of a company or subsidiaries and affiliates. For this purpose, there are three different scenarios with different characteristics, which are suitable depending on the internal workflow.

The current version also supports Microsoft SQL 2019 and Office 2019 and the latest Microsoft developments.
