TPS unveils new plate offering

Total Print Supplies (TPS) has launch a new plate portfolio, giving PaperCo and Robert Horne customers a choice of pre-press products from three leading global manufacturers: Xingraphics, Ipagsa and Presstek.
Steve Brading, PaperlinX business development director, said: ‘TPS are confident that we can offer customers a truly unique selection of credible and proven plate products, many at very competitive prices. In addition TPS will provide all the expert technical support required to help printers select, switch and fully integrate their plates into their factories.’
TPS’s plate portfolio consists of:
- Xingraphics is the fourth largest plate manufacturer in the world and TPS will be exclusively stocking its Fit XTRA Melior plate, a thermal positive CtP plate suitable for commercial, newspaper and packaging printing.
- Ipagsa’s Arte IP-21 thermal positive CtP plate, along with the associated chemistry, which is suited to medium to long print runs.
- Presstek’s Aurora Pro and EXP plates. These are chemistry free thermal plates with ‘excellent’ environmental credentials. Customers can also benefit from access to Presstek’s pre-press hardware range and their DI printing presses.
‘An important factor when selecting our suppliers was their existing and continual research and development commitment. Both Xingraphics and Ipagsa have cutting edge plate product development in the pipeline that will allow TPS to bring some very unique products to the UK during 2012,’ said Brading.
Total Print Supplies (TPS) from PaperlinX is available to customers of the Robert Horne Group and The Paper Company (PaperCo); it offers an extensive range of pre-press products, blankets, press chemicals, inks, oil based varnishes, coatings and sundries.
