Tresu technology helps Nilpeter at Labelexpo

Tresu has collaborated with Nilpeter to develop an adapted version of its chamber doctor blade system exclusively for the press manufacturer’s FB and FA flexo and MO offset lines.
The CleanInking system, which works with or without an ink-pump, assures uniform ink transfer within a wide range of filling volumes, from just 0.2 to 2 liters. At Nilpeter’s Labelexpo Europe stand, the FB water-based line ran without ink changes for five days of continuous live demonstrations, thanks to the closed chamber system.
CleanInking system users will also benefit from automatic cleaning of the anilox roll and printing cylinders, so that replacement is possible without the need for protective gloves.
‘There was great enthusiasm for the CleanInking system during the show,’ said Jakob Landberg, vice president of sales and marketing at Nilpeter. ‘It has eliminated ink spray and ink starvation, and allowed us to run the press for a much longer time than was possible with an open chamber. Nilpeter has enjoyed a close collaboration with Tresu for many years. This partnership has ensured lean, precision inking technology across our press program.’
