Tri-Tronics launches Mini Label-Eye

Tri-Tronics has launched Mini Label-Eye, a miniature special purpose gap/slot sensor to sense adhesive labels on a web.

Designed for label applying, printing and converting this 10mm wide sensor can fit into small areas. According to Tri-Tronics, Mini Label-Eye features a large, bright LED indicator easily seen from every angle, is easy to set up with one-touch autoset, and has a response time of 35 microseconds that delivers position repeatability.

The benefits of Mini Label-Eye, according to Tri-Tronics include: small size (10mm wide), simple one-push autoset, brighter oversize LED indicator, special optics designed to ignore web flutter and penetrate label backing webs, high-speed 35 microseconds response time, remote autoset can be set from an HMI, and the low voltage 4.75-30VDC draws less power.
