UV Graphic launches compatibility servo press

Customers with existing presses of any brand will have the option to purchase a flexo press from UV Graphic that will ensure compatibility with their existing press. It implies that the customer will be able to use same ancillary equipment such as anilox rollers, print cylinders, magnet dies, doctor blades and ink trays on the new press supplied by UV Graphic.

Abhay Datta, director, UV Graphics, said: ‘Many customers with huge inventory of tooling will be able to use their existing tooling on a new and modern press, thus, substantially saving on tooling and inventory costs.’

‘We have already made print units compatible with a European press that are running successfully at Janus International in Mumbai. This machine was installed in February this year,’ said Datta. ‘Further, we are in advanced stage of discussion with a printer in Pune who wanted another press. The cost of the new press was proving to be very expensive during these times. So, we worked around the idea to make it compatible with his existing machine.’

‘We design and manufacture the press in such a way that the tooling of printer’s any one existing press matches with the new press offered by UV Graphics. Our customers will save thousands of dollars on duplicate tooling inventory,’ concluded Datta.
