Cyngient appoints director of technical support

Cyngient, a technology-driven provider of inks, coatings and adhesives for label and packaging converters, has appointed Mark Keenan as director of technical support.

Keenan brings more than 30 years of experience in the packaging printing industry, with a background that spans press operation, production supervision, technical training and applications support. His hands-on expertise strengthens Cyngient’s ability to deliver high-level technical service and application guidance to its growing customer base.

Prior to joining Cyngient, Keenan served as a senior print technician at Mark Andy, a training specialist for Fastems and operations training manager at Brook + Whittle. Earlier in his career, he worked as a flexographic press operator at Prime Package & Label and most recently held the role of technical support specialist at Maxcess/RotoMetrics.

In his new role, Keenan will support Cyngient customers with technical applications, including on-site validation of inks, coatings and adhesives. Based in St. Louis, his primary territory will include the Midwest region, while also providing support across Cyngient’s expanding national customer base.

During his time at Mark Andy, Keenan gained firsthand experience working with Cyngient products – an exposure that influenced his decision to join the company.
