QuadTech appoints international sales manager

- Brings 33 years of industry experience to international role
- QuadTech also expanding international sales agent network
QuadTech has appointed Chuck Irons as its new international sales manager, who will oversee the global sales efforts of QuadTech, with the exception of the Americas.
He brings over 33 years of printing industry experience to his new role, having previously held positions with Contiweb, Heidelberg, and Goss International.
‘We are thrilled to get someone of Chuck’s caliber on our team,’ said QuadTech president Karl Fritchen.
‘His extensive experience in our industry complements the team we have in place in Europe and Asia. Chuck’s strengths as a networker and team player will help to keep us focused on the growth opportunities we have identified.’
Irons (pictured, top) said: ‘From my past experience in this industry, I’m very familiar with QuadTech’s role in driving the industry forward, standardizing quality, and making print more profitable. I was drawn to the company by their global reach, and by their strong commitment to innovation.
‘In 2012, QuadTech developed more new products than in any prior year of its 34-year history. This makes us well-placed to raise the long-term competitiveness of our customers.’
QuadTech is also aggressively adding more sales agents to its international network. ‘We’ve already announced the appointment of ColorConsulting in Italy this year,” said Fritchen.
‘We have also reached agreements with six more agents, which we’ll announce in the coming weeks.
‘And we expect that number to rise before the end of the year. Rather than shrinking back during difficult economic times, we’re seeing growth potential for our customers, and increasing interest in QuadTech solutions.’
