Rotocon wins African Excellence Award

Rotocon has been named the 2026 African Excellence Award winner for Best Label Printing & Converting Equipment Partner 2026 - South Africa by MEA Markets.

The award marks Rotocon’s fifth consecutive African Excellence Award, recognizing the company’s continued commitment to technical excellence, customized engineering and customer support across the African label and packaging industry.

Now into their ninth straight year, the African Excellence Awards celebrate organizations, leaders and professionals driving progress across Africa’s diverse and rapidly evolving business landscape.

Rotocon has developed a portfolio that covers the complete label production workflow, including printing, converting and ancillary equipment. The company works closely with customers to understand their production requirements and develop integrated technologies tailored to their specific needs.

In Africa, Rotocon's headquarters in Johannesburg has recently expanded with the opening of a new 2,000sqm facility and demo center. The investment brings together advanced technology, engineering capabilities and collaborative spaces, strengthening the company’s ability to support customers across Africa.

Rotocon is a family business led by Michael, Pascal, Patrick and Marco Aengenvoort. Its journey in Africa has been built on nearly five decades of Aengenvoort family experience in the label and packaging industry. Since its establishment, the company has expanded its presence across Africa and internationally, with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, and a facility in the US.
