Unilux names new VP of sales

Unilux, a designer and manufacturer of strobe lights for surface inspection in the metals, printing/converting and papermaking industries, has named Tom Herold as the company’s vice president of sales for the Americas. In his new role, he will provide local sales support to Unilux customers on the east coast and lead initiatives for growth throughout North, Central and South America.

'It is an honor to join the team that re-engineered Xenon strobes for industrial inspection and then pioneered LED-based systems for significant environmental and maintenance benefits. It’s an exciting time for Unilux, and I’m eager to work with our engineers and sales representatives to see where we can take the technology.'

Herold has more than 30 years of experience in technical sales, serving the converting, packaging, paper and metals industries. Most recently, he was a regional sales manager with Accraply, a subsidiary of Barry-Wehmiller Companies, and vice president of sales for Maxcess International.
