Russian flexible packaging printer plans further investment after flexo press installation

Press manufacturer Comexi and Russian flexible packaging converter Tiko Plastic have extended their relationship with the installation of an FPlus 10-color flexo printing press, with the printer preparing more investments.
Tiko Plastic is considered one of the largest companies in Russia focusing on the production of flexible packaging, with interests in monolayer films, carrier bags and technical packaging.
The company already had other flexo printing presses from Comexi installed, as well as extrusion and co-extrusion lines, bag making machines, a laminator, a slitter rewinder and two recycling plants.
Tiko Plastic said the new FPlus 10-color flexo press has enabled it to increase its production capacity and print quality, and has ‘positively influenced the competitive situation of the company’.
It added: ‘Tiko Plastic is directed at further expansion of its plant facilities and the growth of customer references.’
