Innovia extends ISCC PLUS certification

Innovia Films has expanded its ISCC PLUS certification to its production facility in Zacapú, Mexico, strengthening its ability to supply certified sustainable BOPP films to customers across the Americas and beyond.

The certification allows Innovia to manufacture and supply its Encore range at the Zacapú site using both ISCC PLUS bio-circular (certified renewable) and ISCC PLUS circular (certified recycled) materials.

'Expanding ISCC PLUS certification to our Zacapú facility reflects both strong market demand and Innovia's long-term sustainability strategy,' said Aaron Henneger, vice president and general manager of Innovia Films Americas. 'It allows us to further scale our Encore portfolio and provide customers with certified renewable and circular film options, wherever they operate.'

ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is a globally recognized, independent certification system supporting sustainable sourcing and traceability of raw materials across international supply chains.

The expansion underscores Innovia's commitment to advancing its role in the circular economy, as customer demand for lower-carbon materials continues to grow.
