Innovia wins national management award

Innovia Group has been named as the National Large Buyout Equity Backed Management Team of the Year at the British Private Equity Venture Capital Association’s (BVCA’s) Management Team Awards 2014.

Supplier crowned the National Large Buyout Equity Backed Management Team of the Year

The BVCA Management Team Awards are designed to celebrate managerial excellence, and to underline the role private equity and venture capital plays in the national economy. It is the only awards competition in the world dedicated to the management teams of UK businesses backed by private equity and venture capital.

Innovia Group was automatically entered into the national awards competition after winning the Large Buyout Private Equity Backed Management Team of the Year and International Impact Management Team of the Year in the north-west region earlier this year following an intense due diligence program and in-depth interviews. 

David Beeby (pictured, left), chief executive officer of Innovia Group, cited teamwork as a central theme at Innovia Group, saying: ‘I have the privilege and honour to head up a team of 1,600 people.  Any success we have is as a result of the combined effort of the whole team.’
