Thomas Graphics rebrands as Synthogra

Thomas Graphics has officially rebranded as Synthogra, effective January 1, to better position the business as a materials specialist.

The corporate identity Synthogra was first seen at Labelexpo Americas 2014, where Thomas Graphics was making its debut in the US

Synthogra is an amalgamation of Thomas Graphics and the word synthetics, the supply of which it specializes in. The corporate identity Synthogra was first seen at Labelexpo Americas 2014, where Thomas Graphics was making its US debut.

The name Synthogra was created in part due to a printer in Texas holding the rights to the Thomas Graphics name in the US.

Synthogra has now been rolled out globally in order to better position the business as a materials specialist, and not a printer/converter as the use of ‘Graphics’ in its original name might lead some to infer.

Synthogra reported a successful Labelexpo Americas 2014, as well as seeing Klaus Damberg officially join the business as a partner last year and the launch of new products, such as Syn-Durable, and the introduction of converting tools, sleeves and cylinders to the business’ product portfolio.
