Korozo Group receives EcoVadis Gold Medal

Korozo Group has received the EcoVadis Gold Medal, with its sustainability score rising from 74 to 85 and placing the flexible packaging manufacturer in the top 5 percent of all companies assessed worldwide, up from the top 15 percent.

The improvement reflects progress across the four EcoVadis evaluation areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Korozo produces more than 137,000 tons of flexible packaging annually and serves customers in more than 75 countries.

'This result reflects the collective effort, discipline and commitment of our entire team,' said Betül Türel Erbay, CISO at Korozo Group. 'Moving from Silver to Gold and into the global top 5 percent is a milestone we are proud of, but it is also part of a longer journey. We are focused on reaching Platinum level, as we believe business success and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand.'
