Wilson Manufacturing said customers will benefit from greater accessibility to genuine Wilson service and support, and can count on cost efficiencies from reduced shipping costs as well.

It is estimated that a typical die requires retooling four to five times over its lifetime. Related cross-border shipping costs can reach upwards of 30 percent of the cost of the die. The new Wilson Manufacturing facility will help to significantly reduce such costs for these Canadian and US customers, the supplier said.

Todd Westover, sales and marketing director of Wilson Manufacturing, said: ‘We are excited to bring our world-class service organization closer to the customers who count on Wilson to keep them productive and profitable.

‘Our new Toronto facility will make it faster, easier and more affordable for these regional converters to handle all their rotary tooling needs.’

The new facility began operations on September 8 and is located at 230 Nantucket, Unit 4, Toronto, Ontario.
