Color-Logic partners with Visualis3R

Color-Logic has partnered with Visualis3R to offer print embellishment visualization software for creative professionals and licensed printers.

Developed by the creator of Color-Logic and Touch7, Visualis3R simulates foils, embossing, varnishes, silver ink, white ink and extra-color effects before production. The software supports Color-Logic files and runs on Mac and Windows.

'Color-Logic has always been committed to simplifying and enhancing the print embellishment process. Now, Visualis3R removes the uncertainty from advanced print effects that our system supports, such as digital and conventional cold foil, and utilization of varnishes or clear coats atop Color-Logic effects. Now, Color-Logic licensees and their clients can preview and perfect their embellishments with total confidence before anything is printed,' explained Mark Geeves, director of sales and marketing at Color-Logic.

Licensed Color-Logic printers and designers can visualize clear inks, varnishes and coatings over Color-Logic special effects, preview hybrid printing with white ink or foil followed by digital CMYK, and simulate ink trapping with silver inks across conventional and digital processes.

'For the first time, Color-Logic is making Visualis3R available to print service providers and graphic designers that do not own the Color-Logic software. This means graphic designers and printers can now enter the world of embellishment and enjoy visualization to save valuable production press time and materials,' added Geeves.
