Ettiketto acquires Interket Group
Deal expected to be finalized by the end of January, pending regulatory approval.
The Interket Group and the Ettiketto Group have signed an agreement whereby Ettiketto will become the new owner of Interket, with the acquisition expected to be finalized by the end of January pending regulatory approval.
'The reason for Ettiketto's interest in Interket is that we consider the group to be well managed and a strong strategic fit for Ettiketto. This includes complementary technology, product portfolios and expertise as well as the addition of strategically important geographical locations,' states Rikard Ahlin, CEO of the Ettiketto Group.
Carl E Parkander, CEO of Interket Group, added: 'The Interket board and its main shareholders have for some time evaluated various options to further develop the Group. We clearly see the synergies of being part of a larger group where we add an extended geographical reach. The owners of Interket are convinced that the Ettiketto Group is the right owner going forward and well positioned to further develop the business in a highly competitive market.'
Both parties believe the combined groups will be stronger together in the competitive self-adhesive label market.
