AM Labels adds compact dye-ink printer

AM Labels has expanded its portfolio with the Epson ColorWorks D3800e color label printer, a compact desktop model that uses dye-ink technology to bring small-batch color label printing within reach of small businesses such as pharmacies and home retail operations.

Dye-based ink printing produces vivid colors and deep blacks on glossy media, and is designed to maintain color quality and readability in high-friction environments such as shops or in transit by reducing the risk of rubbing and abrasion. This makes it suited to short-run promotional materials, pharmaceutical labels, personalized packaging and more. AM Labels provides UK-wide delivery of the D3800e with a lead time of one to two days, and the printer is designed to be easy to set up, maintain and integrate with existing systems.

The D3800e uses dye-based, full-color CMYK ink and measures 310 mm x 283 mm x 285 mm (L x W x H). It connects via USB or WiFi, is compatible with a range of design software, and features a front-mounted digital LED control panel. It supports die-cut labels up to 108 mm wide, supplied on roll or fanfold format, with a maximum resolution of 600 x 1200 DPI.
