Chili Publish has named Robert Lugg as its new business development manager

Lugg brings over 30 years of experience to his new role as business development manager. Prior to joining the company, Lugg worked for a German software manufacturer of color management systems, overseeing sales and business development in Northern Europe. His previous experience also includes business development, marketing and sales support roles at other manufactures including Purup Prepress (now Esko), Fujifilm, Creo, Ricoh and CGS.

Lugg has also worked inside printing organizations, most recently as a consultant with print production companies, helping them to manage change and drive technical implementation in the critical areas of ERP/MIS, digital printing, pre-press and online services.

‘My experience in the industry has provided me with some really valuable perspective,’ commented Lugg. ‘I understand companies pain points and the role that technology can play in solving those challenges. That is why I am so pleased to be working at Chili Publish. Its innovative approach to online editing, combined with robust integration support (APIs) and feature rich editing capabilities, give users the resources they need to transform how documents are created.

‘I am really looking forward to bringing the value of this great solution to more users in more locations.’

Established in 2010, Chili Publish is a software company focused on the development and deployment of powerful online software for the graphic arts industry. Chili Publisher is an online editing tool that can be seamlessly integrated into third-party workflows and production platforms to provide a wide range of customizable, easy-to-use, browser-based, editing functions. Chili Rendro is a PDF rendering tool that enables fast, accurate rendering of PDFs which can then be viewed on devices supporting the HTML5 canvas.

The hiring of Lugg is part of the company’s continued expansion, and supports the increased interest in the range of Chili Publish products around the globe.

Kevin Goeminne, Chili Publish CEO, said: ‘This year has been a time of growth and innovation for Chili Publish. We’ve introduced our new rendering solution and a major upgrade to the Chili Publisher. This response to these products has been overwhelmingly positive, and we needed a new resource that could help us keep pace with the interest these solutions have generated.

‘Robert is clearly the right choice for that role. His industry expertise, combined with his success in the area of business development, make him an excellent addition to the Chili Publish team.’
