Sparc Systems recruits international sales manager in pursuit of global growth

Sparc Systems, a supplier of checkweighers, X-ray, label inspection, bespoke weighing systems, and products and services to the high-risk food industry, has appointed Daniel Frank as international sales manager as it seeks global growth.

Frank joins in a strategic move to further the company’s reach into Europe and beyond, following a successful debut at interpack in May and appointments of new distributors in the US and Australia. Sparc Systems has also named Steve Elliott as its new design manager.

With a career that spans two decades in food manufacture including sales, product and project management in both Germany and the US for Bizerba Solutions, Frank has moved to the UK to manage Sparc Systems' international relationships.

‘The difference with Sparc Systems compared with other manufacturers is that we listen to what the customer wants and deliver that to them,’ Frank said. ‘I have spent most of my career in protein and bakery, and I believe here at Sparc Systems, we are pushing the boundaries in these sectors. Not only do we make bespoke and fully integrated systems offering all food safety in one “box” for better auditing, pretty unique in this industry, but we also give manufacturing butchers and bakers peace of mind that food safety and hygiene are paramount – allowing them to get on with what they do best.
