Sparc Systems appoints design manager

Sparc Systems, a supplier of checkweighers, X-ray, label inspection, bespoke weighing systems, and products and services to the high-risk food industry, has boosted its portfolio by appointing Steve Elliott as design manager.

Steve Elliott will head up the Sparc Systems design team, and joins following the company’s launch in to Europe, with further plans to expand its distributor network across the globe

Elliott brings with him a wealth of experience, including managerial positions most recently at Ishida and Baker Perkins, and commented said: ‘My experience designing for global food production machinery brands has given me some great insight into our customers’ needs, and invaluable knowledge of what works in the real world.

‘There is so much potential here as the company is growing, and there's a lot of belief in the products throughout the business, it creates an atmosphere that spawns innovation.’

David Buckley, Sparc Systems managing director, said: ‘What Steve brings with him is invaluable in this industry, given he has touched every aspect of food production. Our plans our bold but after a successful debut at interpack in May, and further appointments of distributors in the US and Australia, we need to be recruiting the very best to ensure we are delivering the most innovative machines in the market to help our customers achieve optimum uptime and maintain profitability and productivity.’

Sparc Systems has also appointed Daniel Frank as international sales manager as it seeks global growth.
