Wejherplast invests in Lombardi Synchroline Viper 350

Polish label converter Wejhertplast has invested in a second Lombardi Converting Machinery press, installing a Synchroline Viper 350 narrow-web flexographic platform at its facility, supplied through Lombardi's authorized Polish partner Reprograf-Grafikus.

The Synchroline Viper 350 is built around automation, productivity, flexibility and precise control of the printing process, providing Wejherplast with the latest generation of Lombardi technology as a follow-on to its first Lombardi press.

'Our cooperation with Lombardi is developing extremely positively, and this new investment by Wejherplast is an important confirmation of what we are building together in the Polish market,' said Tomasz Balcerowski, managing director of Reprograf-Grafikus. 'The new Viper is generating strong interest in Poland: its concept has been very well received by the market, and we currently have several promising discussions underway.'

The investment comes as Poland's economy continues to grow at 3.6 percent in 2025, and as the value of Polish label production increased by 80 percent between 2019 and 2023, according to a Polish label market report published ahead of Labelexpo Europe 2025. Printed self-adhesive labels represented around 62 percent of total output.
