ETI Converting Equipment reports drupa success

ETI Converting Equipment signed five contracts at drupa 2008, one of which was with a printer located in the Middle-East – a first for ETI in that part of the world.
‘We achieved our objectives at drupa,’ said Franois Bayzelon, chairman and CEO. ‘Of course, we anticipate many other important sales in the next few months, taking into account the interest shown by the numerous visitors we welcomed at our booth.’
ETI’s Cohesio, an in-line silicone and adhesive coating equipment to manufacture pressure sensitive labels before or after printing, is now recognized and accepted by some of the biggest end-users worldwide, amongst them L’Oreal, P&G and Heineken.
The Metronome, a servo-motorized flexographic press, has benefited from the company’s opening of a manufacturing facility in China last year. ‘The opening of a plant in China last August allowed us to reduce considerably our production costs, permitting us to offer the Metronome at a very competitive price without making any compromise on the quality,’ said Bayzelon.
