Beontag receives APR recycling recognition for adhesive

Beontag's PET Wash-Off adhesive has been certified by the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR). The adhesive meets the highest US standard for PET recyclability and is backed by trusted third-party validation.

Beontag's PET Wash-Off adhesive is a pressure-sensitive technology specifically engineered for PET packaging using BOPP face stocks. It differs from conventional adhesives that often leave residue on PET surfaces, which leads to discoloration, hazing and diminishing material quality in the recycling process. Beontag’s adhesive formulation overcomes these challenges by ensuring clean removability, enabling true circular recycling of PET while preserving its integrity. 

With clean separation during recycling, no need for substrate pre-treatment, and all-temperature performance, PET Wash-Off helps converters and brands enhance packaging recyclability without adding further complexity. Engineered with circularity in mind, the PET recovery supports the production of higher-quality Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content while also helping brands enhance recyclability without compromising label performance or operational productivity.
