Pubbli Service installs second Cartes machine

Pubbli Service has installed a new Gemini GE362VR E-Line from Cartes, configured with varnishing and semi-rotary die-cutting units.

With this new investment, Pubbli Service strengthens its department dedicated to the finishing and converting of self-adhesive labels. The new machine joins the Cartes GT360 Series, model GT363SHR, installed at the company in 2019.

Pubbli Service invested in the Gemini GE362VR E-Line to increase flexibility, efficiency and quality in finishing processes, which the machine provides with a modular platform designed for label finishing in the 360mm web width. The Gemini E-Line Series offers digital converting, combining modularity, versatility, performance, waste reduction, the ability to save and quickly recall processing parameters, and reduced power consumption.

In the configuration installed at Pubbli Service, the machine integrates flexographic varnishing and Cartes’ exclusive semi-rotary die-cutting technology, allowing different types of processes to be managed efficiently and ensuring consistent results even across diversified production runs. The Gemini E-Line Series can be configured with flexo printing and varnishing units, Jet D-Screen digital embellishment, hot stamping, semi-rotary die-cutting and laser die-cutting.
