FLAG signs on 75th converter member

Since the firm started in 2010, FLAG has retained over 90 percent of their members by delivering savings and providing a growing list of value-added services.

According to John McKay, president and founder, ‘We’re thrilled that Star Tag & Label has recognized the power of the FLAG community and joined our organization. We strive to provide opportunities for companies like Star Tag & Label to be more competitive in the marketplace and become a stronger company without sacrificing any of their independence.’

The primary goal of FLAG is to deliver bottom-line savings to its members on roll label substrates, inks, tooling, pre-press, digital, shipping and more. FLAG negotiates national vendor contracts, leveraging the buying power of all of its label converter members. These group savings incentives deliver bottom-line savings to its Members while providing sales opportunities to its Vendor Partners.

Additionally, FLAG group members --with an average size of $2 to $20M -- realize the type of benefits usually enjoyed by larger multi-site converting conglomerates. These include catastrophic recovery plans, penetrating new markets and application niches, and having access to new resources. These benefits are delivered through a 24/7 online resource site, small peer groups, quarterly calls and an annual meeting.

Long-time member Shawn Werbitt, president, Pazazz notes that ‘FLAG has been really beneficial not only on the monetary side but also in networking. I’ve made contacts all over the USA, which now gives me the ability to tell my clients that, ‘I have resources across the country to accommodate your needs.’ I would recommend, better yet insist, that potential converters become a Member today and not wait any longer.’

FLAG will be exhibiting in Booth 1557 at Labelexpo Americas.
