Schobertechnologies hosts IML-focused open house

Schobertechnologies hosted an open house focused on in-mold labeling at its headquarters in Hochdorf, Germany, in October. The event hosted more than 100 visitors over three days, and featured the participation of HP Indigo, Treofan and Adhesiv.

RSM770-Digi-Varicut rotary die-cutting system

With a ‘Meet the IML experts’ theme, the open house presented demonstrations of the latest versions of Schobertechnologies’ RSM550-Digi and RSM770-Digi-Varicut rotary die-cutting systems.

Both machines feature new drive technology which allows a combination of continuous and intermittent die-cutting. In-mold labels of a wide range of formats can be cut and stacked.

Schobertechnologies’ partners gave presentations at the event to provide insights into their latest technologies and materials: HP Indigo on digital printing, Treofan on BOPP foils for IML, and Adhesiv on coating.
