Six Lombardi presses sold into India
Vinsak, exclusive distributor of Lombardi presses in India, sold two of the Italian manufacturer’s press at Labelexpo India 2018, while a further four orders placed at the show floor are expected to be installed by the end of the current financial year.
Vinsak showed two 8-color Lombardi presses in 530mm and 430mm web widths, which will be installed at Ahmedabad-based Prakash Printers and Coaters and Delhi-based Polylam Printers, respectively.
Alongside on display was a Vinsak USAR slitter rewinder, die-cutter and inspection system. Vinsak sold eight USAR machines into India, Bangladesh and East Africa.
Vinsak also launched a table top rewinder machine for rewinding of printed material from roll-to-roll with label counting, and showcased new versions of its reel lifters, VRL 350 and 250
Vinsak’s other principals including AB Graphic, Iwasaki, Pantec and Schober. had information booths at Labelexpo India and reported to have a good show.
Neeraj Sharma, executive director at Vinsak, said: ‘The main interest of participating in Labelexpo India is to showcase new technology and demonstrate full functioning of machines. Visitors were more focused this time, venue was better organised and there was good response from India as well as from overseas visitors. Vinsak had a very successful experience at Labelexpo India 2018.’
