The company has used HP Indigo technology for 17 years, with the HP Indigo 20000 its second HP press after working with an HP Indigo ws4500 for a number of years. With a print speed up to 42m/min, the newly purchased press allows the company to implement four printing orders simultaneously and deliver a faster reaction to ad-hoc inquiries for short runs. With the new HP Indigo 20000, the company added that it answers to current market trends and extends its competences in the field of variable data printing.

Meike Berrenbaum, bits-to-dots managing director, explained: ‘The market is increasingly moving towards shorter product life cycles and a growing variety of SKUs on stock. This comes with a heightened demand for a faster production of samples – a need that must be met with increased flexibility and productivity.

‘With the HP Indigo 20000 digital press, we can meet our costumer’s needs by offering versatile and reliable technology that convinces through broader color gamut, improved color consistency and various finishing solutions. This allows us to set ourselves aside from other print service providers.’
