French company SIFA purchases second ETI Cohesio
SIFA, located in the north of France, has acquired a second ETI Cohesio, a patented technology of in-line silicone and adhesive coating, to meet its customers demand.
The Cohesio technology allows for the manufacturing of pressure sensitive labels in a single in-line process: printing, applying silicone and adhesive, laminating and die-cutting, resulting in a final deliverable product.
Moreover, in order to combine efficiency and environmental concern, the new machine is equipped with the Pellicut, a high-speed rotary die-cutting unit that allows the machine to die-cut on thin liner polyester film (.72 mil) or SCK or glassine paper (20 lb), thus reducing waste.
Pascal Segard, president of SIFA, said: ‘Since the e-commerce enthusiasm, the ETI technology allows us to meet our customers increasing demand for self-adhesive shipping labels. Furthermore, creating our own labels, from raw material to finished product, enables us to offer our customers unbeatable prices.’
