French printer buys Comexi F2 MC CI flexo press

Comexi has strengthened its position in the French market with sale of an F2 MC CI flexo press to Livcer.

Livcer is dedicated to the health, pharmacy and beauty packaging markets. This new press will be located in its facility near Paris and will increase its print capacity and capabilities following its growth strategy in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Italy and France.

The Comexi F2 MC press has been designed for short and medium runs in the flexible packaging field for the retail and wholesale channel. It allows print widths from 870mm to 1270mm, in eight and 10 colors, with maximum repeats of 800mm. It can handle substrates from plastic film to paper or thicker materials, such as laminated films.

Olivier Gibert, Comexi area manager for France, said: ‘This sale is an important purchasing that reinforce Comexi’s position as a benchmark company in the French market.’

Comexi senior central Europe area manager, Jordi Pujol, added: ‘France has been one of the major markets since Comexi's foundation in 1954. Currently, we have more than 60 CI flexo presses installed in this country, as well as other printing, laminating and slitting technologies.’
