Samwoo P&S installs first Valloy Bizpress 13R in Korea

Samwoo P&S is printer of high quality labels and flexible tubes for the food and cosmetic markets.

Bizpress 13R is a 13in roll-to-roll single pass digital label printer powered by a Xerox CMYK toner engine. White can optionally replace the black, with black simulated by mixing CMY via the Rip software. It has pre-cut label support and a maximum print speed of 7.5m/min.  Use of low temperature fusing technology, media cooler and anti-static ionizer allows filmic materials such as PP, PET, PE and PVC to be handled as well as paper substrates.

Samwoo P&S opted for the Bizpress 13R to produce various short run jobs like promotional wet-tissue labels and stickers. Media compatibility compared to engines from the likes of and Konica Minolta are cited as another reason for its investment choice. To catch up with the higher production speed of such machines, Samwoo P&S is willing to buy a second and third Bizpress 13R.

An optional web guide is available and the Samwoo P&S specified it, correcting unevenly wound rolls automatically.

Since installation, Samwoo P&S has printed many jobs on various media such as PP, PET, PE and transparent films.
