Weber Marking Systems, part of the Bluhm Weber Group, has been operating for nearly 90 years, becoming one of the leading manufacturers of labeling and coding products globally. The company has recently acquired Lemorau CTA1500, an automatic core cutter for its Almere, The Netherlands production facility. The transaction was finalized by Bosschart, a Dutch distributor of Lemorau equipment in the region.

‘We are very satisfied with our new core cutter. It offers an easy and logical operation; the different core diameters can be changed easily and quickly, and it produces a clean cutting line of the cores,’ commented Ronald Schaap, purchase and production manager at Weber Marking.

The Lemorau CTA1500 automatic core cutter is built with heavy-duty components to exact specifications, offering multiple cut lengths from a single parent core, up to four different sizes, and four standard core diameters: 25, 40, 50, 76 mm (1, 1.57, 2, 3in).

It uses servo motors for core positioning and produces burr-free cuts with a speed of up to 40 cuts per minute. It also features a multi-language touch screen. Optional features include a Thickness Pack to cut more dense/thick cores, Quick Remote Connection, and plastic core cutter.
