Explaining the latest investment, Bogusław Meszkes, Grafpol CEO, said: ‘We decided on this press because of its reasonable price, high print quality, and the advantages compared to the existing solutions in our print house, especially with regards to short runs and personalization. The market is changing and digital printing is on the rise. Customers are demanding high print quality and very short runs. I see the next three to five years being very important and successful for digital technology, as issues such as high material costs, clogged nozzles amongst others have been solved. This is why we have chosen to invest now.’

Trojanlabel is represented by HKM in Poland, and Zbigniew Karapuda, commercial director at HKM, said: ‘The product is very good and in high demand. Digital printing meets the need for smaller circulations and increased label customization, and for that purpose, the reasonably priced TrojanTwo is a high quality solution.’

Grafpol specializes in the production of self-adhesive and in-mold labels for a variety of consumer products. The company caters to both smaller local business and leading enterprises. Unveiled at Labelexpo Europe 2015, the company claims TrojanTwo is the world’s first affordable mini digital label press at 40,000 EUR (44,200 USD) and runs at 18m/min.
